e-Wolf Unveils The e-2

German company e-Wolf moved one step further in competition of electric powered vehicle development. They unveiled 'e-2'EV prototype, after debuting their 'e-1' electric sportscar at Frankfurt Motor Show recently.

The car has an acceleration of 0-60mph in just below four seconds and high speed may cap off at 155mph. The vehicle powered with 134-hp electric motor per each wheel for a total of 536 squeaky-clean horses and a 738 lb-ft of torque.

84 cells battery is used which measures 23cm x 18cm and weighs 1 Kg. Hyper-light carbon/aluminium construction chassis weighing around 900kg makes the platform for this car. After recharge of 30 minutes the range could be 187 miles per charge. Unlike the open-topped e1, the spectacular looking e-2 has taken inspiration from Italian super cars. Roll out of e-2 is planned in 2011
