Sprint, a tele communication giant and Palm, a leading mobile products company announced the launch details of their new Palm Pixi, running on Palms webOS platform and is the second webOS smart phone from Palm. This smart phone will arrive in US market on November 15th, for a cost of $99.99 with two year service agreement after instant and mail-in rebate of $50 and $100.
Pixi features a QWERTY keyboard and the keys are more raised than the Palm Pre which helps to use the keys more easily. 8 GB on board storage, a capacitive touch screen, Bluetooth, gesture-based UI, features of Palm Pixi continues. Palm pixi uses a Touchstone charger the first inductive charger for phones.
Palm Pixi with its WebOS allows multitasking for its users. Palm Pixi provides an easy drive between email or messaging or you can search the web by listening to the music.You can re-arrange the whole applications by simply dragging them.
Besides Google, Facebook, Linked In, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, Palm Pixi also adds Yahoo.
Seeing all its specification it seems to be a great device for messaging and connecting with your friends through social networking and it comes really affordable.
