Acer is planning to launch a new laptop which changes the contemporary design concept of a laptop. The new frame-less ultrathin laptop with a striking design is expected to hit the market by the second half of 2010. Both the frame-less display and keyboard are touch screen.
Fujistu and Asus already came up with this idea. According to rumors, the device is using Corning’s reinforced glass substrate for a super thin laptop and to reduce the cost of the raw materials to a minimum level. Back of the glass is provided with printing to give a notebook cover appearance.
There is not much details available about the device now. Anyway it is really interesting to have a frameless laptop right?
