Panasonic adds a new device to its tough book line up Panasonic Tough book CF-C1. The new device with a rugged design is particularly suitable for difficult situations where strength has primary importance.
The device features a dual hot-swappable interchangeable battery, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G connectivity for ensuring the connection with your loved ones. The device also features a light weight design with dual mode. It can be used in laptop mode and in tablet mode. The device supports multi gestures even with gloves on.
The device has got a special triple-reinforced hinge which holds the screen drive when the user types characters. The other specifications of the device include a spill-resistant keyboard, 2.4 GHz - 2.93 GHz Intel Core i5-520M vPro, Intel Smart Cache 3MB, The device with 4 cell battery will have a weight of 1.4kg to 1.69 kg.
The device will be available from July 2010 in European countries starting from from 1998 euros.
