Samsung announced the availabilty of R1 PMP in US which was already launched in Europe. Samsung R0 PMPs are also available now along with R1. Both of the players are coming in both 16GB and 8GB versions.
The features of R1 includes a 2.4-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display which offers a drag and drop for media files. The R1 is offering a good battery back up for consumers. Per each single charging the device can offer 50 hours of audio and 4 hours of video playback. The device also offer a Bluetooth support along with FM tuner and recorder.
The R0 is coming with 2.6-inch LCD display and offers six hours of video playback and 30 hours of audio playback. You can expand the device with microSD cards.
The shipping of the devices will starts from April. The 8 GB R1 will be shipping for $149.99 and 16 GB for $179.99, while R0 8GB is available for $99.99 and 16 GB for $129.99.
