Sony Is Planning To Launch 3D TVs In June

Gone are the days when we enjoyed the visual effect of 3D movies only in theaters. Now 3D Tvs can bring this visual effect into our living rooms and we can enjoy the 3D movies by simply sitting in our home itself. Many companies have already announced their 3D TV ranges.


Samsung launched their 3D TVs in their home market South Korea and is planning to launch in US market too by this month itself. Panasonic 3D TVs are also on the way to the market. The 3D TV manufacturers expect this technology to be a boom in the TeleVision industry. The reports suggests that the global demand for 3D TV will reach 15.6 million in the year of 2013 from the 1.2 million estimated requirement during current year.


Sony, the makers of BRAVIA, is also planning to release their 3D Tvs , and the device will be available by June 10 in Japan. And will start shipping globally around the same time.


The company hopes to sell around 25 million LCD TVs in its next financial year and planning make 10 % of this in the form of 3D TVs. As we know Sony is also planning to release a new firmware for PS3 which will enable 3D gaming and movies. It is expected that the updation will be available in June itself along with 3D TVs.
