DIY Pixel Qi Screen Kits Expected To Hit By June 2010

Mary Lou Jepsen, Pixel Qi fame revealed the DIY kit for netbooks which will be available by the end of Q2 2010. They confirmed in their blog that do-it-yourself screen kits for their 3Qi hybrid displays  can be expected to hit the market by June 2010.

But the exact details like the screen size, exact availability of the device, price details, compatible devices etc. are not mentioned in the blog. Thinking too much about changing the display, according to Mary Lou Jepsen's blog "It’s only slightly more difficult than changing a lightbulb, it’s basically 6 screws, pulling off a bezel, unconnecting the old screen and plugging this one in. That’s it. It’s a 5 minute operation."

In her blog she is also referring about the 'laptop hospital, a service depot started by kids in Africa.
