The first e-reader from Samsung, Samsung E-6, which was already showcased at CES 2010 in January is now ready to launch in US. The 6-inch e-reader is coming soon to hit US markets. The device features a 6-inch E-ink display which will support the inputs from an EMR (electromagnetic resonance) pen. The pen will let the users to add annotations, and to take down notes etc.
The other features include a 2GB internal memory with microSD card slot, Bluetooth 2.0, MP3 player, ePUB/PDF/TXT support, Emolink technology, text-to-speech, Wi-Fi , and is also coming with a scheduler with Outlook sync support. The device also supports LendMe technology which allows the user to lend the e-book for 14-days free of charge.
Samsung partnered with Barnes & Noble to sell the e-book and it will be available for $299.
