Accessories And Pricing Details Of Apple's iPad

Apple has unveiled their most awaited iPad tablet PC. The device is available in different configurations and the cost varies as per the configurations. The 16GB iPad with Wi-Fi come with a price tag of $499, where as 32GB and 64 GB devices with Wi-Fi cost $599 and $799 respectively. The iPad with Wi-Fi and 3G model cost much higher than the former. 16 GB iPad with Wi-Fi and 3G costs nearly $629 where as 32GB and 64 GB iPads with Wi-Fi and 3G cost around $729 and $829 respectively. Toshiba TG02 Is On The Way

Toshiba seems to working hard on the successor of their medicore series TG01 in the form of TG02. The information shows that Toshiba TG02 cleared through FCC and is supposed to be launched at the Mobile World Congress 2010. There is no detail available about the handset and there is no photo available yet. The device is expected to arrive with usual features like quadband GSM/EDGE, WiFi b/g, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, UMTS/HSDPA etc. But the information like the OS, screen size are still unknown. Whether it is coming with a touch screen or still use the 1GHz Snapdragon processor need to be confirmed. The sad thing about the device is that it is not coming with US band supports. Samsung Announced The Mass Production Of 3D LCD/LED HDTV panels

Samsung, the multinational conglomerate corporation and the largest makers of television and displays, headquartered in South Korea, announced the beginning of mass production of the panels for 3DTVs. Samsung will be the first company to start a massive production of panels. The panel will be made in both LED and LCE High-Definition formats and produces 40-inch, 46-inch and also 55-inch full-HD 3D TVs compatible with LED and LCD with ‘3D Active Glasses.’ The device is employing the Samsung's true 240Hz technology to enhance the 3D content to give it a more natural appearance. Dell Mini 11 Coming Soon?

Dell seems to be adding one more device to the Mini series and the company is working hard to make it happen. Dell Mini 11, which is new to the list, may be a successor of Alienware m11x or some thing related. The only information available is the name spotted in the configuration tool page of Dell Mini 10 which lists extra battery for dell Mini 10 and Mini 11. Chinese manufacturer Hanvon introduced their 10.1-inch multi-touch display slate tablet. The device features resistive touch screen. and is powered by Atom Z530 processor. Other specifications includes GMA 500 graphics, HDMI out, Wi-Fi switch, mic and headphone jacks and runs on Windows 7 OS. The device has some attractive and impressive features like 1080p playback support, handwriting recognition software in different languages, e-book contents etc. There is no word on price and launch date from the company as yet.

Pegatron Neo 10-inch Smartbook With Tegra 2 To Offer Full Day Battery Juice

Pegatron Neo 10-inch smartbook is powered by Nvidia Tegra 2. It made its appearance at CES 2010. The main feature of this pseudo-laptop is its full day battery juice. The 1080p video playback offers a high definition media entertainment. The light weight Neo is ultra portable and thin. It runs on Google's Android OS. In the prototype build quality seems to be little bit shoddy and seems to be cheap in the demo. However the features makes the device more attractive. Now you can create a wireless 3G or 4G network hotspot with this new mobile wireless router --TEW-655BR3G. The 100 mbps TEW-655BR3G is from the famous netwoking company TRENDnet. The gadget is showcased at the Consumer Electronic Show. It does not require any software or driver and also don't have any internal WWAN. The only thing you need is to share the device with multiple WiFi clients by slotting it to your Modem. Unlike MiFi which supports WiFi b/g, the TRENDnet router supports WiFi 802.11n which helps to reduce the time to transfer files between the connected computers. Even though the device offers many advanced features, the batterry life degrades the device. The device uses a Li-Ion battery which can power upto 1.5 hours only. It won't be a serious issue as the battery is user-replaceable and a few spares helps to provide a longer untethered connectivity. The device will hit the markets in April 2010 for $99.99.

The Texet makes a different approach as they introduce their tablet EZB890. The tablet features a 500MHz MIPS processor while most tablets in the market uses an ARM based chipset for their tablet PC's. It runs a custom Linux distribution. Other features includes a 8.9-inch touch screen display with 1024 x 600 resolution, 2 USB ports, 4 GB flash storage and a microSD card slot, 802.11b/g WiFi, and a 3 hour battery. The device also comes with a 3G modem and a SIM card slot. It is coming with a number of open source applications like AbiWord for word processing, Firefox web browser, Gnumeric for editing spreadsheets and also features a media player which supports XViD, MPEG and a bunch of other formats. Marvell EBOX PC First Full Fledged Tiniest Computer With Armada 510 Processor

The EBOX PC which is showcased at CES 2010 by Marvell left a distinctive impression with its size. The EBOX  runs with Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala and can handle 1080p HD video playback. It can also be connected to big screen LCDs. A hard drive is not present in this device and the OS runs off on an SD card. EBOX features a Marvell Armada 510 processor, which is ARM v7 based chipset that can run upto 1.2GHz. EBOX is the first tiniest full fledged computer and the demo seems to use a prototype. Details like when it hits the markets, when they start bulk production and at what price the device will be available etc are yet to be known. We have to wait until an official announcement.

Sony rolled out their devices for CES 2010. They announced their latest innovations in 3D technology, Blu-ray and digital imaging. Sony also extended their Vaio series and revealed a tablet PC, a digital e-book reader and opened a Sony 3D Technology Center. 3D Technology Sony is making 3D more home friendly. Teleepoch's Gesture Controlled Phone Without Any Button

Teleepoch demonstrated a new concept in mobile technology, a mobile phone without any buttons, at the Consumer Electronics Show 2010. The full device is controlled only by gestures movement. The device is too small (size of just two thumbs ) and it contains only display, 2g radio and an accelerometer. It will be very cheap as it does not require any other buttons. The chance of malfunction is also less, the text entry is done using voice recognition. For the time being this is just a concept phone and there is no information on the availability.

The yet to be released new Mini 5 Tablet from Dell made its appearance at CES. Dell claims that the Mini 5 is an extension of their portable product range and will queue under Mini range. MSI Dual Screen e-reader For CES 2010

MSI revealed a new dual screen e-reader. This happens to be the first working model dual screen e-reader. This new device runs on Windows 7 OS and among the dual screens, one screen can be used as a keyboard. Other features of the e-reader includes a 1.6GHz Atom Z530 processor, accelerometer, GMA 500 graphics, Haptic feedback, etc Even though the device looks great, power saving will be a major challenge when it goes on production. If they use some power saving displays or some Pixel Qi screens for the device  then it will be nice. Anyway we have to wait and see for more details.

HP Rolled Out Their CES 2010 Line UP

HP Line-Up At CES 2010 Hewlett Packard (HP) upgraded their award winning z-series with a number of work stations. Heading the attack is the Z200 , which is an entry level device among the Z series laptops. The devices features Intel Core i3 /Core i5 dual-core /quad-core Xeon 3400 processors. They are aimed at students and engineers working in the area of designing. HP ZR22w and HP ZR24w  included in the z-series displays excellent visual qualities. HP Pavilion Elite HPE Desktops and Compaq L2105tm are the other two desktops announced by HP at CES 2010. HP Pavilion Elite HPE Desktop is a desktop with Windows 7 OS.
