Sony proved that they are also not behind in the tablet PC market by announcing their new 7-inch, wedge-shaped touchscreen device called the Dash, a sort of tablet. The machine with a sleeker design and more than 1000 apps is available with the Chumby OS. The device is coming without any internal battery and with a WiFi application.
The device features headphone jack, accelerometer, stereo speakers, USB port, and also preloaded youTube, Crackle, Livestrong, Epicurious, Pandora,etc.
The Dash is designed in such a manner that it will stand up right on tables or night stands for perfect viewing and you can even lay it down to your lap. Sony claims that Dash is a 'personal application viewer' and will start its shipping for $200 from April onwards.
You can use the Dash as you wish like a video streaming device, digital picture frame, social network device, calendar, MP3 player and what not? the choice is yours.
