Toshiba unveiled their NB305 netbooks, which is an update of their NB205 line up with boosted specifications and extended battery life. Design of the device is the same with sturdy metal keyboards and well spaced keys, low friction trackpad and the 10.1 inch LED backlight display. There is also the twin touch buttons which extends up to the lower edge of palm rest. Everything is same except the battery, which is puckered under the laptop and the result is a slanted netbook.
The features of NB305 includes Atom Pinetrail, Windows 7 Starter OS, 1GB of RAM, 250GB hard drive, 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution etc. The NB305 is also enclosed with a 6-cell battery with an 11 hours run time. This is better when compared to the 9.5 hours run time offered by NB 205. It weighs 2.6 pounds. The indication LED lights provided on the right hand palm rest is raised to make it more visible.
The new device is coming in blue, white, brown and elegant black colors.The colored models are coming with a price tag of $400 where as the black will be available for $350.
