Details of Lenovo's first smartbook 'Lenovo Skylight' is out. It is the first ARM based smartbook at CES 2010 that uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset platform. With sleek stylish design and amazing features this smartbook is definitely a source of attraction in the show.
The features of this first smartbook from Lenovo includes 1 GB processor, 10.1-inch display with resolution 1280 x 720, integrated quadband 3G with AT&T service in the US, two USB 2.0 ports and a mini-HDMI connector, with 4-in-1 memory card reader, a mono speaker, a microSD slot with an 8GB card pre-loaded, audio in/out, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a 4GB USB stick and 2GB of online storage, Wi-Fi, web gadgets like Roxio CinemaNow, Roxio CinemaNow, 20GB Storage etc.
You can see that the Lenovo Skylight is really thin with just 253 x 201.1 x 17.2-18.9 mm dimensions and weighs under 2lbs. It id ultra portable and will be a good companion wherever you go. The battery life is also good with more than 10 hours active battery life. The device is available in stylish colors -- Earth Red and Lotus Blue.
It will starting shipping from April 2010 and the starting price of Skylight is $499. AT&T will offer the device with a contract basis and the details of the Subsidized prices are not yet announced. The device will be available later in European and Chinese countries.
