Hewlett Packard (HP) unveiled the Mini 210 and 2101 at CES 2010. The HP Mini 210 is a consumer oriented netbook while HP Mini 2101 is a business oriented netbook with same design as that of Mini210.
The HP Mini is coming with an ultra thin design and a non-glossy rubbery exterior. The only factors we feel little awkward about the design are the button-less touchpad and the six cell battery which stickout. .
The features of HP Mini 210 / 210 includes 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 or HD 1366 x 768 display, GMA 310 graphics,1GB RAM (2GB max), 3-cell with 28Whr and 6-cell battery with 62Whr, three USB 2.0, 5-in-1 Card Reader, VGA, combo mic/headphone jack, etc. These models are coming with Broadcom HD Crystal Player.
The HP Mini 210 is coming in two versions. Hp Mini 210 high end model and low end model. The specifications of high end model includes a Atom N450 processor, Windows 7 Starter, 1GB RAM, a Matte lid and edge-to-edge display.
HP Mini 210 Low end model features Atom N450 processor, 1GB RAM, Gossy lid and the only difference with high end is that it runs on Windows XP OS.
HP 2101 as we said early is a business model with Atom N450 / N470 processor, 160GB / 250GB or 320GB 7200RPM HDDs.
All the models will be on sale from January 7th. HP Mini 2101 is priced at $399 where as for Mini 210 high end and low end models starts at $329 and $299 respectively.
