Lenovo seems to be working hard to make an impact in the upcoming CES 2010. They unveiled their CES range and you can see a number of laptops in their product page that are meant to be revealed at the show. One among them is the new Thinkpad series Edge.

The Edge has a series of 13, 14, 15 inch Notebooks. 13.3-inch Lenovo Thinkpad Edge marks the starting point for the EDGE line. The device is aimed at home buyers along with some small, medium scale business consumers.

The device features AMD’s Turion and Athlon Neo dual core processors and also offers a choice of Intel CULV Core 2 Duo and regular Core 2 Duo processors. Other specifications includes Windows 7 OS, integrated WWAN/GPS, a spill-resistant keyboard, WiFi, Bluetooth, optional WiMAX, 3G, a 5-in-1 media card reader, three USB ports, more color options than the usual ThinkPad, and also a 7.5 hours battery life time.


The device will be available from 3rd January for $549. The14 and 15 series of Edge will be hitting the market during the second quarter of 2010.
