Samsung, the multinational conglomerate corporation and the largest makers of television and displays, headquartered in South Korea, announced the beginning of mass production of the panels for 3DTVs. Samsung will be the first company to start a massive production of panels. The panel will be made in both LED and LCE High-Definition formats and produces 40-inch, 46-inch and also 55-inch full-HD 3D TVs compatible with LED and LCD with ‘3D Active Glasses.’
The device is employing the Samsung's true 240Hz technology to enhance the 3D content to give it a more natural appearance. This technology will also provide 2D images a visual boost during the speedy sequence.
There is no detail known about the pricing and availability of these displays. But we can expect 3D goodness soon to decorate our living rooms.
