Just after introducing two new flagship devices, Sony Xperia Z and ZL at the CES venue, Sony is taking their fans to a magical world. As rumored earlier the company announced their big brother in the Z series, a 10.1" tablet and it looks very sexy like its younger ones, the innards also rocks.

The device looks so handy within its ultra thin 6.9mm thin profile, far slimmer than full-size iPad which is 9.4mm and iPad mini's 7.2mm thickness. The 495gm heavy device also offers protection from dust and water. The 10.1" display with 1920×1200 pixels features Sony's own Mobile Bravia Engine that is quite common in most Sony mobile products now.

Now the 1.5 GHz Quadcore Snapdragon processor is the driving force behind the the 10.1" device. A 32GB of internal storage can meet most of your storage needs, and there is also a 8.1 Megapixel camera featuring Sony’s EXMOR R sensor on the rear side. The tablet also offers NFC and LTE support. It  lands with a sound system called “S-Force Front Surround 3D” and the company claims that the new technology improves the sound coming from the tablet. On the software side, the device runs on Android 4.1.2 Jellybean.

The tablet is slated to make its market entry by the Spring in both black and white colors, and most probably it will be hitting Japanese carrier NTT Docomo.
