Remember Nokia Lumia 505, a mid-range Windows Phone powered device from the Fins that leaked back in the starting of December on its way to Mexico? Mexico Telcel officially announced the device by the middle of December, and was enjoying as exclusive device for the carrier.
Now Nokia is planning to release the device in few more countries too, including Colombia, Chile, and Peru and it seems like that the company is only targeting some emerging market.

No idea on when the device will be landing on these countries, but the wireless provider is same, Claro will be carrying the device in all the three countries.
As we said, it is a mid-range device that won't break your wallet but still delivers a descent multimedia experience. It offers 3.7-inch 480×800 touchscreen, 800 MHz single-core processor, 256 MB of RAM, 4 GB of storage space, 8 MP rear camera, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS etc. Lumia 505 runs on Windows Phone 7.8 and draws the power from a 1,300 mAh battery.
The lack of a microSD card slot and front-facing camera is there, but still it seems to be a good deal.
