Fitbit has become an authority in sleep and activity tracker niche in a short period. Their Fitbit One and Fitbit zip are hugely popular among health nuts. The company inspired by this huge success and demand have introduced a new device called Fitbit flex. It is a wristband tracker and perform all those sleep and activity tracking for the user. It is available in a number of colors -- navy, slate, black, teal and tangerine. They all look good so can easily become a style statement.
This device was shown off at the CES 2013 and marks the beginning of fitbit's entry into the wristband tracker space. You can set your goals and the five led's of the band shows you how close you to attaining it. Like the Fitbit One, the Fitbit flex also tracks the number of steps taken, calories burned, quality of sleep, time slept etc and in real time syncs the data to iPhone, Android devices and other PCs. The inclusion of Bluetooth 4.0 very much helps this device to break apart from the pack.
The flex is waterproof and so can be worn in rain, shower or in pool. It works with Android and an app can be downloaded from Google play by the end of January.
It is now available for pre-order from the fitbit site for $99.95.
