Google, the search engine giant entered in to the hardware space by introducing their Nexus smartphone back in 2010, since then the company introduced a range of devices under Nexus brand, including the affordable tablets. But still Google was missing the entire control on the devices as they are finished the device by various Android partners.
After the acquisition of Motorola, the tech world was expecting a brand new device from Google manufactured entirely by the company. Now the time has come and it's almost confirmed that Google is working on a high end smartphone named Motorola X Phone. The “X Phone” is going to be the first device to get the full control from Google, everything from hardware to software will be controlled by Google itself.
The device has been enjoying its leaks and rumors for the past few days, and the rumors till now points that Google "X Phone," will make its debut at the Google I/O conference in May.
The latest news on the device comes from the company itself, even though there is no hint on the device, the words from Google CEO Larry Page points superior smartphone.
“In today’s multi screen world, the opportunities are endless… battery life is a huge issue… when you drop your phone it shouldn't go splat,” says Page "There’s a real potential to invent new and better experiences” he added.
Those words points towards an unbreakable phone with an extended battery life and wireless charging capabilities. Apart from that there are also words that the device will carry a high-end camera and great photo software and also a bendable display.
Right now all these specifications falls into rumors, so we have to wait for an official announcement for more details.
