As expected, ZTE officially announced their Grand S as the second 1080p device from the company and as the world's thinnest 5" Android smartphone to date. The device keeps all its features within a 6.9mm thickness. The specifications of the device are not high compared to Nubia Z5. The Grand S packs a 1.7GHz S4 Pro quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. There is a 16 GB on-board storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card. It runs on the flavors of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and offers almost all the regular connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and 4G LTE etc.

A 1,780mAh battery is used to power the device, which is not so impressing, but still it's enough to run the show. ZTE Grand S expected to hit the street in the first quarter of this year, first in China. Price details are not yet confirmed by the company.
