When it comes to the ultra thin smartphones, Alcatel’s One Touch Idol Ultra, announced at CES still crowns as the world's thinnest smartphone, with just 6.45 mm thickness. A new smartphone from Oppo was rumored to own the name but nothing happened when it officially announced Oppo R809T last week. Now the reports from China shows that Alcatel must have to handover the crown to Huawei as the Huawei is busy in making world’s thinnest smartphone.’
The recently leaked Huawei P6-U06 is just 6.18 thick, which makes it 0.27 mm slimmer than One Touch Idol Ultra. The device was caught when it was collecting its necessary certificates for sale in China from the relevant authorities.
The phone offers a 4.7-inch 720p HD touchscreen, 1.5 GHz quad core processor, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, 5 MP rear camera, dual SIM support, and supposed to be run on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
No other details on the device are available right now, but we may except the device in the coming weeks.
