Samsung was reportedly working on a new handset based on the Tizen OS, and it was rumored here and there many times with a model number Samsung GT-I8805, and codenamed as Redwood. But the company was silent about the device till now, but now they reportedly have confirmed the device in their UApro.
The specifications of the device according to the UAProf includes a 1280x720 HD display, the power of Cortex-A9 processor and of-course the Tizen OS. The device is also said to feature an LTE connectivity. Unfortunately we don't have any idea on how the device looks like, but we think that the Korean makers will follow the design concepts of their Bada device.
Both Fujitsu and NEC have already expressed their interest in Tizen OS, and they may introduce the devices next year.
