It is a known fact that the Chinese mobile market is flooded with affordable Android smartphones, packed with wonderful features. Manufacturers there always looks for some economical alternatives to make them fit within budget and the option of the MediaTek processor is one among them. The processor works well, and is cheaper than other alternatives which lets them to finish their devices.

Now it seems like the Sony is also planning one such device for the Chinese market. The Japanese makers are reportedly working on an affordable Android smartphone dubbed as C3, with a MediaTek quad-core chipset. The processor will most probably be MT6589, and Sony is adopting most of the features of those mid rangers, and C3 will have a dual SIM support, and also a 5" screen. The resolution is unknown right now, but we cannot expect any Full HD display as it belongs to the affordable smartphone category.
Sony is planning to release the device by the second half of this year, and we can expect more on the device in the coming days.
