On May 14 Nokia introduced their latest flagship device, the successor of Lumia 920, Nokia 925(previously known as Catwalk). During the official announcement the company claimed that the new device offers an excellent camera, and was said to be one of the best camera when it compared to its rivals in the market now. It lands with a number of great camera features like their own PureView technology, Smart Camera software, optical image stabilization, the new and the Carl Zeiss lens. But if you are not convinced on its camera capability, and want to know how good it is, Nokia has posted some comparison shots in their Facebook page of Lumia 920 with most of other high end devices available in the market now.
Well the comparison list includes the performance of Apple’s iPhone 5, Samsung’s Galaxy S4, HTC’s One, Sony’s Xperia Z and Lumia 925. They have concentrated specially on low light performance of these devices. In these shots Galaxy S4 seems to be the poor performer, and HTC One offers some better performance but it can't beat Lumia 925. Anyway the comparison is entirely from Nokia's side, so take it in that spirit.
Nokia is planing to introduce the Smart Camera features to the existing Lumia devices also, via Windows Phone 8 software update (called Lumia Amber). Lumia 925 will be landing at T-Mobile in the US in the coming months.
