ZTE Grand X2 In announced Intel Atom Z2580, Android Jelly Bean

ZTE introduced yet another Intel powered Android smartphone dubbed as Grand X2 In. Like ZTE Geek launched last month, the Grand X2 In is also running on Intel Atom Z2580 (Clover Trail) chipset, the same processor that Lenovo used to power their K900 smartphone.

Coming to the specifications of Grand X2 In, the phone offers a 4.5-inch 720p HD display(1280 x 720 pixels), Intel Atom Z2580 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory. The phone packs an 8MP camera with zero shutter lag and 24 frames per second shooting and 2,000 mAh battery. It runs on Android Jelly Bean.

William Chhao, Terminal Director at ZTE France noted in the press release that “We are proud to announce the ZTE Grand X2 In smartphone pursuing our multi-year strategic collaboration with Intel. The ZTE Grand X2 In is set to build on the success of the ZTE Grand X In, our first flagship smartphone in Europe to feature Intel Inside, and further increase ZTE’s growth in the high-performance smartphone market segment.”

The ZTE Grand X2 In is one step below than the Geek, in terms of specifications, but ZTE have included their My-Pop feature on the smartphone, that helps in one-hand operation of the phones. ZTE Grand X2 In is slated for a Q3 release in Europe, but there is no word on pricing and availability of the device.
