Upcoming Windows Phone 8 devices revealed

A user at Reddit gives a glimpse on the upcoming Windows 8 handsets by HTC, Samsung, Nokia and Huawei. According to him all the handsets will be landing in the second quarter of this year, in June, July and August months.

As per the post HTC will launch not one but two of their Windows 8 handsets under HTC Tiara brands, and one of them is LTE enabled. The details on the devices are not available right now, but it is supposed be landing at Sprint first.

In case of Nokia, they have two new upcoming Windows 8 devices in their pipe-line, Nokia Catwalk, aka, Lumia 925/928 and Nokia EOS, in which Catwalk is rumored to launch on May 14 and EOS will be following Catwalk and it is reported to be landing with Nokia 808 PureView camera.

The Chinese makers Huawei are also there in the list as they are planning to launch a Windows Phone 8 version of their Android smartphone Ascend D2. The device is dubbed as Ascend WQ 5, and it offer a 5-inch Full HD display, 13 MP camera etc. Rest of the features of Ascend WQ5 will also be inspired from Ascend D2, it seems.

It seems like the Samsung's recent success in Android smartphone space made them move away from Windows Phone devices, and according to the source Samsung will be launching a Chronus, an aluminium-chassis Windows 8 notebook. There is no mention on their Windows Phone 8 devices.
