Samsung launches Wallet app in Korea

Earlier this year Samsung had showcased their own Wallet app for developers. Now the Korean makers have made the apps available to the folks at their home ground Korea. People in Korea can now download the app from Samsung's own app market if they have a compatible device with them. Right now the app asks for the credit card info of the user, and then the users can pay for their requirements on online needs.

The app is compatible with the devices like Galaxy S 4, Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy S II HD LTE. No idea on the support of the app on other devices. With the new app Samsung is targeting to take on Google's Wallet app and also the similar app Passbook from Apple. The Korean press release didn't provide any details on launching the app in other part of the world.

Mean while it is reported that the app will live in US Samsung Apps market also, but its seems to be a bit different version there. We may hope that more details on the US launch will reveal in the coming days, and let's wait for the official words from Samsung
