After getting introduced officially at CES 2013 venue, Lenovo's first Intel Clover Trail+ powered smartphone, Lenovo K900 was waiting for its release date for last few months, and the wait is over now. The smartphone is available now for purchase in China for 3,300 yuan (about $535 or €415).
Lenovo K900 features a premium look, with its unibody chassis and stainless steel frame. It is packed up with some impressive builds and hardware specifications. The phone measures just 6.9mm thin making it one of the best slimmest smartphones.
It features a 5.5-inch display with a 1080 x 1920p resolution and a pixel density of 400ppi, Intel Atom Z2580 processor clocked at 2GHz, a 2GB of RAM, 13 megapixel Sony Exmor BSI rear camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing shooter. More than that the phone packs an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator engine running a PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU for extreme graphics performance.
“Intel and Lenovo have raised the bar for smartphones with the K900. Our teams got together and worked closely to innovate around a number of important features and capabilities that our customers care most about such as power consumption, application switching and camera functionality. We are proud to be teaming with Lenovo to bring these innovations to market,” noted Ian Yang, president, Intel China.
Lenovo added that the K900 will be landing in other international markets also in the coming months.
