Samsung extended their Android portfolio by introducing a new Android device dubbed as Galaxy Core. The new device Galaxy Core is an addition to Samsung's mid-range series, and the Korean makers are offering the device in both single SIM and dual SIM variant. The highly talked flagship devices like Galaxy S4 is not the only device that accounts for those enormous sales figures, but the mid rangers like Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Mini or Galaxy Y also contribute well to reach the shipping volumes to 70 million units per quarter. So the company now concentrates into mid range phone business as they continuously introduces phones in regular intervals that fits to the budgets of a normal customer, and Galaxy Core is one of them.
Earlier there were reports of the dual SIM version of Galaxy Core being introduced in Russia. The single SIM version of the device will be landing July, while the dual SIM Galaxy Core will be available starting from May itself. There is no words on where it will be available initially, but most probably it will be landing in Asia and Europe first.
Samsung packs all the nice features to make it a perfect mid-ranger including a 4.3-inch WVGA display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean etc. The phone also offers 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card support up to 64 GB. No words on the pricing now.
