In the beginning of this year Acer had introduced an Android smartphone Liquid E1 with a stylish new design, and now the company is unveiling the next version in that series, Liquid E2 with a new design language. The Liquid E2 offers a better camera performance and the power of quad core processor than E1.

In terms of features it offers a 4.5-inch 540×960 IPS touchscreen, a quad core processor, 8 MP rear camera with zero shutter lag, 2 MP front camera, microSD card support, optional dual SIM suport, 42 Mbps HSPA+ and the regular connectivity options Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS. It runs on Android OS, possibly Android 4.1 Jelly Bean or an updated version, as the E1 runs on Android 4.1.
Liquid E2 will be available by the mid of May, in Belgium Netherlands, Ukraine, France, Spain, the UK, Italy, Germany, and Russia first. It will be available in both black and white colors for a price of €229
