
HTC M4, a mid ranger, and a step down version of M7 aka HTC One seems to be busy in getting its things done. The Digitimes reportss that the device will starts its shipping by the month of June. M4 will be landing with metal-alloy chassis, the company have partnered with Catcher Technology for that.
“To prevent component shortage issues from happening again, HTC has decided to give its chassis orders solely to Catcher,” Digitimes noted in the report.
According to the leaks and rumors, HTC M4 is expected to offer a 4.3-inch 720p display and Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor. The camera is the same that is used in the HTC One, an ultra pixel one. There is a 1GB of RAM and 16 GB of on-board storage.
The source says that HTC is planning to ship around 700,000 units of HTC M4 in Q2, of this year, and if it is going to debut in June, HTC is expecting to ship those units in a single month.
