Pantech officially announces Vega Iron with 5" Full HD screen and super slim Bezel

Just a couple of days ago we had spotted the upcoming flagship device from Pantech dubbed as Pantech Vega Iron, and it was reported to get official green light on April 18. And exactly as rumored Pantech went official with their Vega Iron, and the device will be landing soon in South Korea on KG U+, SK Telecom and KT carriers. But the company didn't provide any details on exact launching date or whether they have any plans to launch the device outside Korea.

Now let's look at the features of this device.

Vega Iron features a stunning 5-inch full HD capacitive touchscreen display with full HD (1080p) resolution. The device is equipped with a powerful 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, that can be further expanded with a microSD card up to 2TB.

You will get a 13 MP rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, and also a front facing camera for video calls. Pantech have embedded an impressive 13-megapixel main camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there’s a secondary photo snapper for video calls.
Iron features 2.4mm bezels on each side, while the horizontal bezels from above and below the screen are a bit thicker.

For connectivity,Vega Iron offers LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 support, along with GPS with A-GPS. It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system, the company promises for an Android 4.2. upgrade later.

The smartphone packs a 2,600 mAh Li-Ion battery,  and the most exciting feature is yet to come. Pantech says that the Vega Iron features zero -bezel display, at least literally,  and it sports a 2.4mm bezels on each side, with slightly thicker  horizontal bezels above and below the screen.
