Pantech, the South Korean makers, are all set to introduce Android flagship smartphone named Vega Iron IM-A870. The device is supposed to be announced on April 18, which is not so far. Pantech prepped the device as a rival to the Samsung Galaxy S4, and LG Optimus G Pro, both are from their home turf. The company already has a flagship device Pantech Vega which stands at No.6 in South Korea, but they may be planning to expand their market out of South Korea with this new flagship, Vega Iron.
The device has now appeared in some live photo shoot in a South Korean forum Ruliweb along with its full specifications. It sports a 5 inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, and there will be a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor assisted by a 2GB of RAM. For storage it features 16GB or 32GB of internal memory that will be further expanded with a MicroSD card. A 13MP rear camera with LED flash will meet all your photography needs.
Vega Iron packs a 2,150 mAh battery, and it is expected to run on Android 4.1.2 Jelly bean at launch, but there is a chance for it to get updated to 4.2 after the launch. The phone features a bezel-less design and will be available in two color options -- white and black.
