HTC launches Desire L in Taiwan

HTC seems to fail in keeping the promise, of releasing just a few models per year, and breaks it by introducing a number of new models that also near-identical devices. But we should say that the Taiwanese makers are keeping their promises when it comes to the high end models.

HTC now introduces a new Android smartphone in their Desire series to their home turf, dubbed as HTC Desire L. The device won't have any exciting features to wow the customers, but still it is a nice one with good array of features.

HTC Desire L has a 4.3-inch Super LCD2 WVGA touch screen display with a resolution of 480 x 800. It uses a 1 GHz dual-core processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded further with a microSD card support.

There will be a 5 megapixel rear auto focus camera with LED flash, but there is no front facing camera. Other features includes Bluetooth, HSPA, GPS, Wi-Fi, and a 1,800 mAh battery. Desire L also feature high quality Beats Audio, and it runs Android OS, but the version is unknown.

No words on release of the device in other parts of Asia.
