"The Nokia Asha 210 really stands out giving super-social consumers new ways to express their personalities through design, colour and innovations like the world's first WhatsApp button," Nokia Mobile Phones executive VP Timo Toikkanen noted in the press release.

The phone features integrated Xpress browser, Twitter and Facebook apps, and also has a dedicated WhatsApp button for messaging addicts. Nokia introduced Asha 210 as a beefed up version of their Asha 205 with some improved features.

It offers a 2.4-inch 240 x 320-pixels screen and runs on Series 40 Asha UI. The handset features 2-megapixel rear camera with a dedicated key and has a 64MB of internal storage which can be expanded to up to 32GB via a microSD card. A 1200mAh battery is used to power the device, that is enough to power the phone 46 days in the single-SIM phone and up to 24 days on the dual-SIM.

Nokia offers the device in yellow, cyan, black, magenta, and white colors for an affordable off-contract price of $72 before taxes and subsidies, and it will hit sometimes in the second quarter of 2013.
