HTC have not yet started offering their current flagship device HTC One in the Chinese market. For those patiently waiting for the device to launch, the Taiwanese makers are giving another option to consider in the form of HTC E1. The phone is listed in company's Chinese eShop, for a price of 1,699 Yuan ($275/€210) for 8GB version and 1,899 Yuan ($307/€235) for 16GB model. Interestingly HTC seems to have taken one step further by letting the buyers to customize HTC E1 before buying from its eShop.
Well, we all know that Google and Motorola plans to allow consumers to customize their upcoming smartphone - the X Phone, but it is quite surprise that HTC have already started to offer customized version of their HTC E1 smartphone, at least in China.
The users will able to choose between 8GB or 16GB storage options and 5MP or 8MP as the rear camera. The buyers can also pick them up from six color options and also from different patterns. The buyers will also get a chance to own a bonus red color interior for E, if they are opting all the best features available for the device.
Now the main features of the device remains unchanged, including a 4.3-inch Super LCD2 touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, 1.5GHz dual-core processor and features 2100 mAh battery, Android 4.1 topped with Sense 4+.
