As we know Acer is not pioneer in smartphone industry, even though it surprised us by revealing a number of new devices. Acer is coming up with two new devices in its beTouch series, Acer slimline beTouch E400, and budget beTouch E110 both powered by Android.
Acer beTouch E400
AcerE400 integrates 3G, Android 2.1 Wi-Fi, and Qualcomm 600 MHz Qualcomm 7227 processor into a 3.2-inch HVGA resistive touch screen. The other features of the device includes a 3.5mm headset jack, 3.2MP camera, native Microsoft Exchange Server support, and also features a “smart Acer Lighting Behavior with smart LED lighting that flashes in different colors to let you know when a new message has arrived, if you missed a call or whether the battery is low.”
The device is coming with a pre-installed Documents To Go with which you can edit and create Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel files and can view Adobe PDF files whenever you want. The device is also coming with Facebook, and Twitter integration, and a GPS-enabled Google Maps complete with Latitude, Street View, Traffic and POI search.
Acer beTouch E400 will be hitting the UK markets by the end of April. There is no words on pricing.
Acer beTouch E110

Acer beTouch E110 is an entry level smartphone and the design is focused for those peoples who really wish to enjoy the richness of mobile internet with in the budget. The device is powered by Android 1.5 and features a 2.8- QVGA touch screen display, 3.5mm head phone jack,HSDPA, 3.2 mega pixel camera, social networking integration, GPS and is coming in two attractive colors, black and dark blue.
The device will be available from March 2010. The exact launching date and the pricing details are unknown.
