Nokia And Intel Combined To Launch The Maemo And Moblin Merge -'MeeGo'

Mobile giant Nokia and the world leader in silicon innovation, Intel is merging their mobile software platforms into a single one, MeeGo, and the final result will be suitable of netbooks, smartbooks, smartphones, MIDs and also to other mobile devices.

The new platform MeeGo will be coming with the most advanced and best features drawing from Maemo and Moblin core OS. The platform also offer an easy access to Intel AppUp Center and Nokia Ovi Store. And can easily download application with tablets or with smartphones.

The MeeGo can be used to power both ARM-based chipsets and x86 Intel Atom processors. Nokia and Intel expect to release the first device based on MeeGo in the second half of 2010, and then you can expect the first device in market by the end of this year.
