Let's Preheat The Oven, Google Is Coming With 'Gingerbread'

Even though the Froyo is not yet released, the code name for the next Android version is revealed and it will be coming soon with a code name 'Gingerbread.'

Brian Swetland, Android Linux kernel guru of Google revealed this in a discussion with LWN.net. He says

“This week we’re finalizing our move to 2.6.32 for the Android “Froyo” release, and we’ll likely be on .33 or .34 for “Gingerbread.”

Anyway the name is really exciting and we can expect more sweet jar versions of Android in future.
