HTC Legend Announced Officially

HTC Legend, a long awaited phone which is a follower of company's well-accepted and widely loved Hero, announced officially at MWC today. The device is little bit smaller in size than the Hero but got a splendid and rocking look with its frame milled with a single block of aluminum.


The device has got a 3.2-inch multi-touch AMOLED capacitive touch screen and a protruding lip at the bottom. The device supports dualband UMTS/HSPA (900/1800) and uses Android 2.1. The device features a 'helicopter view', this expose-style view along with pinch-zoom motion makes several home screens panes at once and also you can any contact group into desktop.


One of the interesting feature of the device is the Friend Stream; this feature makes all the updates from Facebook, Flicker and Twitter into a single feed as in MOTOBLUR. You can reply to any updates directly from desktop through desktop widget.


HTC Legend is powered by 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor and features a Bluetooth, Wi-FIb/g, 5 mega pixel camera with LED flash and a microUSB port. The device will be arriving to Europe With Vodafone in April and an unlocked version will also be available in Asia, in second half of 2010. No details about pricing available yet.
