Shanzhai the famous brand in China always coming up with some cheap netbooks and notebooks. But there is no compromise in quality and always prefer Intel Atom or VIA platforms processors for their devices. But now it seems like they are changing their design concepts by revealing a notebook with AMD’s Yukon platform with one dual-core processor. You can see this in a number of devices announced in last year like Toshiba Satellite T115D, MSI Wind U230, Lenovo ThinkPad Edge and also in the upcoming version of ThinkPad X100e.
The features of the new notebook from Shanzhai includes a 1.5GHz dual-core Athlon Neo X2 L325 or a single-core Sempron 210U processors, 13.3-inch display with 1366 x 768 resolution, 1080p capable ATI Radeon X1270 integrated graphics, HDMI out etc all in just 1.77 Kg.
There is no idea about when it is going to hit the market and also about the pricing details and battery life of this new device. It is expected to be coming with a pricetag of $400 - $450.
