MWC 2010 : Aptina Revealed Advanced Camera Phone CMOS Sensors At MWC

aptina-

Aptina, is a leading global provider of CMOS imaging solutions, has always come up with sensors for cameras with which you become world class pixel architecture and manufacturing expertise. The company showcased its latest CMOS sensors 'MT9F011' at Mobile World Congress 2010.

The new sensor features a 14 mega pixel, and a 1.4-micron camera image sensor. The high sensitivity reduce the noise and provides fast frame rates. The sensor with advanced CMOS technology provides improves video performance and to record at 60fps with 1080p resolution. The sensor supports 1/2.3 optical format and Bayer resample. It is using 25 degree chief ray angle for minimizing the height of the module.

The sensor offers OEMs and module integrations with the pre-processing options. The chip features four-lane MIPI data interface which can be configured as single or dual lane. The mass production of the sensors will start in second half of 2010.
