MWC 2010:The First Bada OS Samsung Wave Announced Officially

It seems like that the rumors about the Samsung's first Bada handset Wave S8500 came to an end as the device with several advanced and impressive features announced officially.


Features of the Samsung Wave with an aluminium body design includes 3.3-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with resolution of 480 x 800, Bluetooth 3.0(one of the first handset with this feature), WiFi 802.11n, DivX / Xvid player, access to Samsung Apps, 1GHz CPU, 5MP autofocus camera with HD video recording 1,500 mAh battery, 2GB-8 GB of internal memory, etc.


Even though the device is using Super AMOLED touchscreen , it doesn't offer multi-touch option. But its OnCell technology generates a crystal clear display with brighter, less reflective screen and also adds mobile Digital Natural Image engine to the device.


The device is using Samsung’s TouchWiz 3.0 UI, which allows the user to have 10 home screens at the same time. The device is coming with a new feature Social Hub through which you can integrate all the social networking services, emails, IM, and also SNS into the phone.


The device is going to hit the markets in April 2010. But there is no words on pricing.
