After a vast announcement of MicroSoft Windows Mobile 7, we were eagerly waiting for MicroSoft Project Pink Turtle Clamshell which we spotted at FCC last week. Even though there is no official announcement about the Turtle, Conflipper, Microsoft expert digged out some interesting details about the Turtle. Thanks to Conflipper and WMExperts.

The details available from the source indicates that the clamshell slider phone will be coming with both GSM and CDMA versions. The GSM version called 'Turtle' (which is already leaked out) where the CDMA version called Pride. The 'Pure' will be a GSM handset while the 'Lion'  a CDMA model.

The Turtle is coming with display resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and the display for 'Pure' got a 480 x 320 resolution. It is supposed from the screen resolution that the two devices will be entry level phones. The device is designed to provide social networking a bit further.

The other details available available about these devices are the Pure using 8 mega pixel camera where the Turtle using 5 MP and 3.5 mm headphone jack. As we reported earlier, the devices are to be manufactured by Sharp and will be coming with brand name of both Sharp and MicroSoft. It seems like 'Pure' is a successor of 'Sidekick' and got a comfortable QWERTY keyboard. All of these devices are powered with NVIDIA’s Tegra system and are referred to as NVIDIA’s Tegra system. There is no detail available about the OS. It seems like the Windows Mobile 7 is not tied up with the devices.

Let's wait for an offical announcement for more details and to see the face of the devices!
