Wacom is a well known company which produces graphics tablets and related products and also a number of products for consumers all over the world. The company extended its pen display line for the speciality industries by announcing two new display products DTU-2231 and the DTU-1631.
The company claims that DTU-2231 is the first interactive HD pen display for EMR, radiology and also for other applications. The device features a 21.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution which lets you highlight the area for a closer inspection and also to make comments on the images (hand written comments).
The DTU-1631 is designed for for capturing signatures and other tasks. And is coming with a 15.6-inch display with 1366 x 768 resolution and also supports 720p video recording.
Both DTU-2231 and the DTU-1631 uses battery-free pens with 512 levels of pressure sensitivity. Both the devices are coming with video pass-thru, USB ports, and a flat work surface. The price tag for DTU-2231 is $1,899 and for DTU-1631 is $1,249
