Sony announced the comapnies new A/V receiver, STR-DN1010 which can support 3-D audio and video. The device is coming with a HDMI 1.4 3D pass-through technology, compatibility with all of the latest Blu-ray Disc audio formats, high-definition connectivity and is designed in such a way to control any high-definition or 3D capable home theater.
The first 3-D receiver from Sony is coming in a piano black gloss finish and also features a full high-definition 1080/24p support. The device has got seven HD inputs in total which provides a connection with a number of HD devices. The receiver can take 3D video from the connected devices and passes them into a 3D compatible high-definition television and also decode the high-resolution audio codecs. The icon drived menu will help you to navigate easily.
STR-DN1010 is compatible with LL THE udio codecs like dts-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD and features a Digital Media Port input for externa input connection like iPod and iPhone and is compatible with both Deep Color and x.v.Color.
The device will be available in markets from June 2010 for $500.
The Sony also introduced a number of AV receiver models to its core line-up, STR-DH810, STR-DH710 and STR-DH510.
STR-DH810 Receiver
The STR-DH810 is coming with 7.1 channel (110 watts power per channel @8-Ohms, 1 kHz, 1% THD), Upscales incoming analog video signals to 1080p,Seven HD connections (4 HDMI / 3 component) 2nd Zone wireless audio (S-AIR ready), Fully Assignable audio and video inputs compatible with Dolby TrueHD, dts-HD Master Audio, Stand by pass-through of Audio & Video via HDMI connected devices, Audio Return Channel using just one cable for TV audio, Universal Remote etc.
The device will be available from March 2010 for $400.
STR-DH710 AV Receiver
The features of this device include Six HD connections , 7.1 channel (105 watts power per channel @8-Ohms, 1 kHz, 1% THD), Compatible with Dolby TrueHD, dts-HD Master Audio, 2nd Zone wireless audio (S-AIR ready), Audio Return Channel using just one cable for TV audio, Fully assignable inputs allows for use of all connections, Stand by pass-through of Audio & Video via HDMI connected devices etc.
This device will also start shipping from March 2010 for a price tag of $300.
STR-DH510 AV Receiver
Five HD connections (3 HDMI / 2 component), 5.1 channel (100 watts power per channel @8-Ohms, 1 kHz, 1% THD), HDMI Repeater for simplified audio and video signal management, Audio Return Channel using just one cable for TV audio, Blu-ray Disc Audio Decoding (Linear PCM Only), Stand by pass-through of Audio & Video via HDMI connected devices etc.
The device will hit the markets in 2010 March for $230.
