As we know Microsoft is going to debut Windows Mobile 7 in Mobile World Congress 2010, but there is no other details available till now. But PPC Geeks are coming up with some unofficial juicy rumors about Windows 7. The details available from the source indicates that Microsoft is not going into depth on hardware or even software details and is planning to show off the user interface details.
The UI will be of a completely new design and looks like Zune HD as Windows 7 has adopted some Zune platform. The smartphone UI 'METRO' is as we said is coming with a new fresh smart screen and can be termed as 'alive,' 'clean' and 'soulful.' It is fully integrated with Zune.
You can't sideload apps into this platform through cable and storage cards and can download apps through Marketplace only, and the Market place is coming with a new API, and is offering a trial period for paid apps, which means 'try before you buy.'
The Windows Mobile 7 is not supporting multi-tasking, and only supports push notifications.
WM 7 supports full Xbox gaming integration and on-device access to gamer tags, friends and avatars with full support of Social networking.
The third party UI is not permited which means that no OEM interface such as HTC Sense, TouchFLO and SPB Mobile Shell.
It seems like that the list is coming with some good stuffs and that the multi-tasking rumor won't be true. If the rumors are to be believed the devices will be ready by the end of Septmber 2010. All the available details are just rumors and there are no official announcements yet. There isn't any single confirmed news from MicroSoft yet. So let's wait for an official announcement.
