Few days ago we had discussed about an upcoming GamePad device from Samsung. Samsung Gamepad however is not a complete device for gaming, it gets complete only when it is connected with either a smartphone or tablet. Archos GamePad, though there is no comparison with Samsung's GamePad, is a complete gaming tablet with attached controllers. It is available in Europe for last few months and the opportunity has come for the US buyers to buy one from a retailer in the country.

GamPad is powered by a Rockchip RK3066 ARM Cortex-A9 dual core processor paired with a quad core Mali-400 MP4 GPU. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is the OS used, and there a 1 GB RAM. 7 inch wide display offers 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. Other specifications includes 8 GB storage memory that can be expanded up to 64 GB using an SD card. 802.11n WiFi helps wireless connectivity. It weighs 330 gm and has dimensions of 4.67 x 9.05 x 0.61 inches.
You can find more details of the GamePad at the Amazon product page.
