Android TV box segment is clearly gaining momentum, with more devices like Ouya in the market the scene will become more interesting. However the big brands are yet to launch into this segment, so the hardware part of these devices are not the latest in the market. Samsung Exynos 4412 Quad Core processor was the chip used to the power the International version of Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone.
YW9300 uses the same Exynos processor to power this Android box paired with Mali 400 quad-core graphics. Other features includes two USB 2.0 ports, one HDMI port and one SD card reader for increasing storage. Android version 4.2 is the software used. The $119 model, which is the base model, has got 1 GB RAM and 8 GB storage, while the $142 model has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage. Currently W2comp has the device on their product listings.
