Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 Available Now In Finland For €329

Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2, introduced by Samsung back in January as an addition to their rugged smartphone line-up, and it was said to make its roll out by March. Samsung did as they promised, but unfortunately if you want this rugged box, you have to fly Finland, or have to wait for some more days if you are not there.

Samsung introduced the device in Finland, and it is offered by the Finnish retailer Gigantti, for a price of €320 (about $418) unlocked. When it comes to UK, it carries almost the same price – around £270 (€314).

As we said, it is a ruggedized device with IP67 certification and offer protection from dust and water. It features a 4 inch WVGA screen with Dragon trail glass protection. A 1 GHz dual core processor power the device along with 1GB of RAM. 4GB of internal memory can be expanded further with a microSd card support(ranges up to 32 GB). Other important features includes VGA front-facing camera, 5MP rear camera with LED flash and dedicated key, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, HSPA (up to 14.4Mbps), GPS with Glonass, 3.5mm headset jack, Music Player with SoundAlive technology etc. It houses a 1,700 mAh battery.
